MARJORIE R. STOWE

Marjorie R. Stowe, 91, of Norfolk, a retired clerk and former school 
teacher, died July 25, 1994, in a Virginia Beach hospital.
   Mrs. Stowe was born in Ivor, Va., and was a member of Miles Memorial 
Methodist Church in Norfolk, where she was a former officer and a member of 
the choir.
   She is survived by her husband, Elwood Stowe; a daughter, Suzanne Halstead 
of Virginia Beach; three grandchildren, Gaspare, Victoria and Kimberly; and 
three great-grandchildren, Amber, Lynsi and Beau.
   A church service will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in Miles Memorial 
Methodist Church by the Rev. Morris Bennett. Burial will be in Charity 
Cemetery in Pungo. Visitation will be Wednesday from 7 to 8 p.m. in H.D. 
Oliver Funeral Apts., Laskin Road Chapel. Memorial donations may be made to 
the American Cancer Society or to the Miles Memorial Methodist Church in 
Norfolk.
